Florida Governor Ron DeSantis stated that the state will sue the Biden administration over its vaccine mandate for employees of federal contractors due to take effect on January 4.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis stated that the state will sue the Biden administration over its vaccine mandate for employees of federal contractors due to take effect on January 4, Baku Tribune reports citing Breaking News. DeSantis alleged that the mandate is inconsistent with the United States Constitution, adding that he believes "the federal government cannot unilaterally impose medical policy under the guise of workplace regulation." Furthermore, he asserted that the policy will further "exacerbate a lot of the existing problems that we are seeing with the economy." Earlier today, the Biden administration announced that federal contractors with over 100 employees will need to be fully vaccinated by January 4. Biden had previously criticized the governor over his handling of the pandemic.
