The head of state also doesn't see the party's loss in Virginia as a criticism of the two bills' size, according to the media outlet.
The main issue in passing Biden's agenda was brought on by House progressives threatening to tank the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure plan unless Congress reaches an agreement on a separate $3.5 trillion spending package first. The multitrillion size of the reconciliation was also believed to be too low by many progressive lawmakers.
