Taiwan cannot rely solely on foreign help when it comes to its ability to defend itself, the island's defence minister, Chiu Kuo-cheng (pictured) said to the reporters on Thursday, Baku Tribune reports citing Breaking News.
"If friends or other groups can help us, [...] we're happy to have it, but we cannot completely depend on it," the minister underlined.
His comments came after Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen told CNN she is sure the United States would back and defend Taipei in the case of an open attack by China.
The Rocket and Artillery formations of the Azerbaijan Army conduct live-fire exercises in accordance with the combat training plan for 2021, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan told Baku Tribune.
