In other news, the United States reiterated its readiness to enhance the political dialogue with North Korea. Japan's Nikkei 225 went down by 0.25% at 7:26 am CET, while the dollar slid 0.11% against the yen, going for ¥114.0375 at the same time. The Australian S&P/ASX 200 closed almost flat, gaining 0.07%. At 7:27 am CET, Hong Kong's Hang Seng tumbled 1.66%, with South Korea's Kospi surrendering 0.78% a minute later. In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite dipped 0.88% at 7:13 am CET, with the Shenzhen Composite concurrently dropping 1.13%.
