The Food Safety Agency continues to monitor public health and provide safe food.
The raids were carried out in Goychay together with officers of the regional executive power and the regional police department at slaughterhouses and meat sales points.
During the raids, the sites of slaughtering animals and selling meat in unsanitary conditions and without veterinary expertise were identified. Local officials have demolished steel structures used to slaughter animals that do not meet food safety requirements.
At the same time, the slaughters were provided with the necessary information to organize their activities in accordance with the requirements of the legislation and to carry out slaughter in centralized modern slaughterhouses
