Azerbaijan’s export to Turkey increased by more than 2 times

In the January-March months of this year, volume of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkey has made up USD 1, 118 bln, and this is 51% more than in comparison to the same period of 2020, Baku Tribune reports.
In the January-March months of this year, volume of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkey has made up USD 1, 118 bln, and this is 51% more than in comparison to the same period of 2020, Baku Tribune reports. According to the calculations, in the first term of the current year, the volume of the export from Azerbaijan to Turkey has made up 739,386 mln dollars, and this is 2,1 times more in comparison to the same period of 2020. While the volume of the import has been equal to 378 886 mln dollars and this figure decreased by 2,8% less in annual comparison. As a result, in the first term of 2021, 360,5 mln dollars of positive balance occurred. However, in the analogical period of the previous year, 39 198 mln dollars of negative balance has occurred.
