As the result of the war Azerbaijan has liberated its territories, that had been under Armenian occupation for nearly 3 decades.
In order to immortalize triumph of Azerbaijan in the Patriotic War, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev signed the decree to create the Park of Victory (or Trophies) in the center of Baku.
