Minefield maps: the international community turns a blind eye to Armenia's new crime

The war in Nagorno-Karabakh is over long ago, Azerbaijan has restored its territorial integrity, the region has passed to a peaceful life. Armenia, however, still does not give up its years of elaborate policy of crime and terror. The refusal of the Armenian side to provide Azerbaijan with maps of minefields - or rather, the territories mined by Armenia on the previously occupied lands of Azerbaijan, is, firstly, a continuation and shameless manifestation of the policy of violating the norms of international law, and secondly, a continuation of the same policy of crimes against humanity. Every day, Azerbaijani sappers and deminers risk their lives in search of mines buried in the ground by the enemy. In addition, it is often reported that someone has been blown up by a mine. As a result, someone dies and someone becomes disabled. And the Armenian side, which during the 2020 war lost control over the previously occupied lands of Azerbaijan, refuses to transfer maps of these minefields to Azerbaijan so that Azerbaijani sappers, knowing the mined areas, could avoid the tragedy. Before proceeding to the nature of the behavior of the Armenian side in the new realities - in conditions when the war ended in Armenia'd complete defeat - it should be said that any side engaged in the purposeful mining of any area has a map of this very territory. First, of course, they draw maps, according to which mining is carried out in its aftermath. Minefield maps as a whole are also necessary for the mining side itself in case the enemy retreats and its own counteroffensive or the reverse occupation of the given territory. They are necessary in order to facilitate the policy of demining the territory in which she herself carried out mining. In this case, the behavior of the Armenians is blasphemous, but no matter how "cynical" it may sound, it is understandable. We are talking about a country that committed genocide of the Azerbaijani people, seized our lands, held them for 30 years and only recently bombed our cities, villages, purposefully killing women, children, old people, men just because they are Azerbaijanis. So everything is clear with the Armenians. But what about the international community then? Where have these great humanists of the 21st century gone, these European, Western champions of justice, who will not fail to once again honor Azerbaijan's morality in the sphere of mythical and phantom "violation" of human rights? It is the world community, the international community that should exert pressure, not influence, but pressure on Yerevan and demand that it has to fulfill all its obligations from the agreement of November 9, 2020, as Azerbaijan does. However, given the fact that this very world community has not raised a finger over the past 30 years to support and help Azerbaijan to peacefully solve the problem of its occupied territories, there is no hope of any pressure from its side on Yerevan either.
