Azerbaijan extends special quarantine regime
A COVID-19-related special quarantine regime has been extended in Azerbaijan.
Prime Minister Ali Asadov on Monday signed a decision prolonging the special quarantine regime across the country until October 1, 2024, at 06:00 (GMT+4), News.Az reports citing the Cabinet of Ministers.
This extension comes as part of Azerbaijan's ongoing efforts to protect its citizens and prevent potential complications arising from the coronavirus pandemic. The previous quarantine period was set to expire on July 1, 2023, at 06:00.
The decision reflects the government's commitment to public health and safety.
The Rocket and Artillery formations of the Azerbaijan Army conduct live-fire exercises in accordance with the combat training plan for 2021, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan told Baku Tribune.
