Erdogan: Armenia's fulfillment of its obligations to Azerbaijan will play a special role in ensuring lasting peace in the region

“We see that we are a step closer to lasting peace in our region with the complete elimination of the occupation of Karabakh that has lasted for more than 30 years. It will be easier for Armenia to fulfill its obligations to Azerbaijan. The establishment of transport lines connecting the western regions of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan in the near future is also of special strategic importance,” said President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan as he addressed the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
