From October 25 to 27, the delegation of mainstream media in Azerbaijan came to Gansu for a visit . During this time, the delegation had an opportunity to feel the development of Gansu and experience the local custom at close range. On the afternoon of Oct. 25, the delegation started its journey in Lanzhou New Area Exhibition Hall, where the delegation gained a detailed understanding of the development history of Lanzhou New Area and was amazed at how fast Lanzhou progressed. Rashad Karimov, chief advisor to the director general of the Baku International Sea Trade Port said that Lanzhou has developed rapidly and changed greatly in recent years, and it is believed that Lanzhou will make more contributions to jointly building the "Belt and Road" Initiative in the future.  After that, the delegation went to Lanshi Group Co., Ltd. to conduct an on-site investigation of technological research and development, production of petroleum drilling equipment, pressure vessels and other fields. In this way, the delegation saw the vitality of scientific and technological innovation and the level of high-quality development of Gansu enterprises.   On Oct. 26, the delegation came to Duzhe Publishing Group Limited. After knowing how the “Duzhe” magazine developed in Duzhe Museum, the delegation showed great interest in Gansu publishing industry, as well as expressed willingness to strengthen cooperation in cultural exchanges, press and publication and copyright business.  In Gansu Daily and Gansu Daily Newspaper Group, the delegation saw the change and innovation of Gansu in the era of media convergence. After the visit, an exchange meeting was held between the two sides. " I am sure that this visit will strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the media of Azerbaijan and Gansu," said Bahruz Guliyev, president of Ses Media Group. To further understand the real Gansu, the delegation walked on the Zhongshan Bridge, stepped into the beef noodle workshop and Dunhuang Art Gallery, tasting special food and appreciating unique art. Meanwhile, they interviewed, wrote and pictured every wonderful moment to show the world an open, inclusive and vibrant Gansu.  After a two-day visit, the long history, profound cultural heritage and rapid development of Gansu have left a deep impression on each member of the delegation. Based on what they had seen and heard this time, they were going to tell the story of Gansu to the Azerbaijani people via their media platforms, so that the voice of Gansu could spread further.  Nothing, not even mountains and oceans, can separate people with shared goals and vision. Gansu and Azerbaijan have maintained friendly and cooperative relations in recent years.
