Azerbaijani FM delivers speech at meeting of CIS Council of Foreign Ministers in Kyrgyzstan

As a part of his working trip to the Kyrgyz Republic, Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has attended the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
Addressing the meeting, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan and the CIS countries enjoy fruitful cooperation in various areas, including economy, trade, investments, transport, communication, humanitarian, education, sports and others. Saying that joint events held in cooperation with the organization contribute to the development of relations, FM Bayramov provided insight into the activities to organize the upcoming 3rd CIS Games to be held in 2025 in Ganja, the second largest city of Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani FM also stressed the importance of such meetings for discussing multilateral cooperation prospects, highlighting the significant role of regularly organized political consultations in this regard. Bayramov expressed his hope that the plan of consultations adopted last year would make a positive contribution to the further development of relations. The Azerbaijani minister also gave an insight into Azerbaijan`s initiatives to develop regional transport and communications, as well as the opportunities created for investors. The meeting ended with the adoption of documents on the results of the event.
