Defense Ministry: Azerbaijan Army positions were subjected to fire
Starting from 00:10 to 02:30 on March 15, Azerbaijan Army positions were subjected to fire, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense told Baku Tribune.
“The Armenian armed forces units from the positions in the directions of the Azizli and Garaiman settlements of the Basarkechar district using various caliber weapons periodically subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the directions of the Yukhari Ayrim settlement of the Kalbajar district, and the Astaf settlement of the Dashkasan district.
Moreover, members of illegal Armenian armed detachments in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping forces are temporarily deployed, subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of the Khojaly and Khojavand districts.
Adequate retaliatory measures have been taken by Azerbaijan Army Units,” the ministry said.
The Rocket and Artillery formations of the Azerbaijan Army conduct live-fire exercises in accordance with the combat training plan for 2021, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan told Baku Tribune.
