Two killed, 16 injured, including sports minister, in helicopter crash in central Iran

A helicopter carrying Iranian Minister of Sports Hamid Sajjadi and his accompanying delegation crashed while landing in a stadium in the Iranian central city of Baft on Thursday afternoon, according to IRNA. Two people including Esmaeil Ahmadi, an aide to Sports minister, have been killed in the incident. 16 others including 4 staff members have also been injured. Local health officials say that the Minister of Sports has been injured in the head and the hand and is suffering from cerebral hemorrhage. He has been reportedly carried to a hospital in Sirjan.
