Baku Tribune presents an interview with a student of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) Zabiulla Kambari. - Please tell us a little about yourself... - My name is Zabiulla Kambari, I am from Afghanistan. I am currently a second-year student at the Faculty of BA, Managerial Sciences under the undergraduate program of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. - Why did you choose an Azerbaijani university? - On the recommendation of my friend, I conducted a study about ASOIU. During the study, I realized that this is the university where I want to study. I wanted to get valuable knowledge from highly qualified teachers and communicate with different people. So I applied and got accepted. Now I am happy with my choice. - How did Azerbaijan meet you? - Before moving to Azerbaijan, I explored your country, studied its culture, history, economy and climate, among other things. When I arrived here, I noticed the incredible hospitality and attention. I made good friends, and they were able to create a “family” environment for me that does not allow me to miss my loved ones too much. - What problems did you face during your stay in Azerbaijan? - It's a language barrier. There were no other problems, thank God. Sometimes they took me for a Russian, they tried to talk to me in Russian. I didn't understand a single word. Thanks to them, I began to learn Russian, because I see that after the Azerbaijani language, Russian is the second language of Azerbaijanis. Therefore, I see this situation as a positive challenge, not a problem. Every day I feel like a part of this country thanks to the warm attitude of the Azerbaijanis. I look forward to new interesting events in my life. - How is the process of your studies at the university? - The quality of teaching at ASOIU is at a high level. I like the lectures and the new teaching methods because the teachers really go out of their way to teach the students, for example: the teacher gives us useful homework assignments, extra resources according to our lessons. Good relations are established between students and teachers. - What are you going to do after graduation? -After getting my bachelor's degree, I want to create my own business to have a good and happy future by contributing to society. - What would you recommend for those who want to enter ASOIU? - If they really want to get a quality education and learn something in life, they should choose ASOIU. Because there are all conditions for getting a good education. I am happy that my future profession is born within the walls of the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry.
