Former United States President Donald Trump has canceled an event scheduled on the first anniversary of the Capitol riot, blaming the House select committee tasked with handling the January 6 probe for the cancellation, Baku Tribune reports citing Breaking News.
"In light of the total bias and dishonesty of the January 6th Unselect Committee of Democrats, two failed Republicans, and the Fake News Media, I am canceling the January 6th Press Conference at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday, and instead will discuss many of those important topics at my rally on Saturday, January 15th, in Arizona – It will be a big crowd," said Trump.
On January 6 last year, a group of Trump supporters breached the Capitol building while Congress was in session, which the former head of state was accused of inciting in order to stop lawmakers from affirming election results.
