Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby (pictured) said on Monday that an Iranian navy helicopter came within "25 yards" from a United States USS Essex assault ship in the Gulf of Oman, Baku Tribune reports citing Breaking News. The aircraft operated in an "unsafe and unprofessional manner," Kirby explained during a press conference. The flight, during which the helicopter circled the US vessel three times, ended without any impact on the ship or its operations, he added.
