WH: Biden-Xi meeting continuation of intensive diplomacy

The US believes that "intense competition requires intense diplomacy," she told reporters. Biden will be "setting the terms... of an effective competition" with China at the summit and the US will not be looking to achieve "major deliverables or outcomes" from the meeting, according to Psaki.
The two leaders will also discuss areas where their countries can cooperate, she added.
