According to the Sheki regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, dried marijuana was found in a box of matches and several pieces of paper during a body search of a resident of the city Muzaffar Chalabiyev, who was detained as a suspect.
Since the police officers had serious doubts about Chalabiev's involvement in drug trafficking, prompt measures were taken around him and it was found that he was hiding drugs in one of the markets in the region. When the site was examined, 2 kilograms and 730 grams of dried marijuana were packed in paper wrappers, match boxes and bags and seized as evidence.
A criminal case has been initiated, an investigation is underway.
